The Lyriq Cadillac debuted last year in design and is ready for launch. The good thing is that so much has improved.
The thing that has changed is that actual cars must function in the real world. You can see conventional side-view mirrors in this production-ready Lyriq. In the center of the grille there is a camera which enables Lyriq to use driver support systems such as Super Cruise. The broad strokes of the Cadillac Lyriq that adhere to the concept as it lead to production compensate for those variations.

The electric motor is important for performance, but the heart of electric vehicles is the battery pack. The 2023 Cadillac Lyriq sports a 100-kWh battery pack that stores enough energy, per Cadillac, to tackle 300 miles on a single charge, with DC fast charging restoring 76 miles of range in just 10 minutes. Cadillac also offers variable regenerative braking controlled by a steering-wheel-mounted paddle.
the multiple-motor competition. This single electric motor is good for 340 hp and 325 lb-ft, however, and while that won’t set the road on fire, it means the Lyriq shouldn’t be a slouch.
Cadillac says the Lyriq EV will be launched as a model-year 2023 vehicle early next year, with prices beginning at $59,990, and reserves shipping in September.
