World Live Auto: Mercedes-AMG GT R
Beside the AMG GT Roadster freshly unveiled, Mercedes came to the World with the most powerful version to date of its sport, the GT R. hard to miss on the stand with his green livery Hulk and his body bodybuildée everywhere.
The long hood features a 4.0 V8 biturbo increased to 585 hp and 700 Nm, against "only" 510 hp and 650 Nm on the GT S which covered until the end. Compared to the latter, the GT R is lighter than a hundred kilos (1,554 kg), with a dual-clutch transmission and seven reports to the shortcut staging, an aerodynamic and rear steering and titanium tailpipes.
Monitored by a skid to nine levels to find the perfect balance between fun and safety on the road and on the track, the GT R is obviously the swiftest model of the entire Mercedes range with a 0 to 100 km / h forgotten in 3 , 6 seconds and a top speed of 318 km / h (against 3.8 seconds and 310 km / h for the GT s). The Porsche 911 GT3 RS and the Jaguar F-Type SVR's ready and waiting for spring 2017.
